When may an elector file a compliance audit application?
The City Clerk may accept applications for a compliance audit of a candidate's expenses within 90 days after the latest of:

Regular campaign period Financial Report filing deadline: 2 p.m. on Friday March 25, 2011;

Supplementary campaign period Financial Report filing deadline: 2 p.m. on Friday September 30, 2011, if applicable;

Another Financial Report deadline as provided for in subsection 79.1 of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 [return of surplus for subsequent expenses], if applicable; or
-
The expiration of a Financial Report filing extension granted pursuant to subsection 80 (4) of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 [court ordered extension], if applicable.
